Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 September 2026

This website (mallorcaluxuryapartment.com) presents a single private property offered for sale by its owner. This policy explains what personal data is collected here, why, and what rights you have over it.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Luigi Matrone, the private owner of the property advertised on this site.

This is a private sale by an individual, not a commercial estate agency.

What we collect, and why

When you use the contact form or request a viewing. We collect the name, email address, telephone number and any message you choose to give us. We use this only to answer you and to arrange a viewing. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract — and, where you simply ask a question, Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in replying to you.

When you submit a form inside Facebook or Instagram. If you respond to one of our advertisements using Meta's instant form, Meta passes us the details you confirmed in that form — typically name, email and telephone number. We receive that data as controller and use it exactly as above. Meta's own handling of it is governed by Meta's privacy policy.

When you browse the site. Squarespace, our hosting provider, records technical data necessary to serve and secure the pages, including IP address, browser type and pages visited.

Measurement, only if you agree. We use the Meta pixel to understand whether our advertising reaches people who are genuinely interested. It does not run unless you accept cookies. If you decline, or ignore the banner, no pixel data is sent. The legal basis is your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser.

Maps. Pages showing the property's location embed Google Maps. Loading a map sends your IP address to Google, which acts as an independent controller for that.

Who else sees it

Only the parties needed to run the site and answer you:

  • Squarespace — hosting, form delivery and site analytics
  • Meta Platforms — advertising measurement, and instant-form submissions, where you have consented or responded to an advertisement
  • Google — map display

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with estate agencies or third-party marketing lists. Where a viewing is arranged through an agency you have contacted yourself, that agency is a separate controller for its own records.

Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as the property is for sale and for up to twelve months afterwards, so that we can answer follow-up questions and demonstrate how a sale was conducted. Consent-based measurement data follows Meta's own retention periods. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict or stop using it, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and ask for your data in a portable format. Write to contact@mallorcaluxuryapartment.com and we will respond within one month.

If you believe we have handled your data improperly you may complain to your national supervisory authority. In Spain this is the Agencia Espanola de Proteccion de Datos (aepd.es); in Germany, your Land's Datenschutzbeauftragte.

Cookies

The banner shown on your first visit lets you accept all cookies, decline all non-essential cookies, or choose. Essential cookies needed to display the site cannot be switched off. Nothing used for advertising measurement runs before you accept.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting people who have already contacted us will be notified by email.
